BLACK MIRROR-CARLA EMETERIO

REVIEW BLACK MIRROR-CARLA EMETERIO

Nosedive is the first episode of the third season of the series Black Mirror. This series is created by Charlie Brooker but especially this episode is directed by Joe Wright. Is a science-fiction series from United Kingdom. It was published on October 21st, 2016 with the rest of the episodes of the third season. Nosedive has a duration of 63 minutes.

The episode is based on a woman that life’s in a world where all is based on likes and followers. Lacie Pound is the main character of this episode, she has a 4.2 qualify and she wants to arrive to 4.5 to get a luxe apartment. That’s why she wants to meet people with high qualification because they have a big impact in the society. Lacie upload a picture about a toy that made with her best friend Naomi and when she saw this picture Naomi invited to Lacie to her wedding. When Lacie is taking the flight for the wedding a lot of negative things happened, that makes the people qualify her with a bad punctuation. If she hadn’t had a bad behaviour with the people, they wouldn’t have given her a bad punctuation

What I love about this episode is that shows the real life because if you don’t have an account in the social media maybe you are a weird person and Lacie shows that is not necessary to use the social media to enjoy the live. The best thing is the courage that the main character has for face to all the society. If people help Lacie, she doesn’t go to the prison.

The only criticism that I have is the false of that people have between them. Always do and say the things that they want to listen, and that cause a world with stupid people.

I recommend this series because shows a future that can happen. The episode holds the spectator’s attention until the end. Every minute of the chapter make you think what is happening with our society. If I were you, I would see this series.
