Nosedive- David Gàlvez

NOSEDIVE 
Nosedive is the name of the first episode of the third season of the sci-fi series Black 
Mirror. The story of the chapter takes place in a world in which people can be rated 
by scores from one to five in each social action they make. The life is based on 
valuations, for example, you are better if you have more likes. 
Lacie, the main character, has only one objective in her life, she wants to get her 
ranking close to 4.5 because it allows her to access the apartment of her dreams 
and the perfect life with which she fantasizes. As I said, she lives in a world in which 
people can be rated according to their personal interactions, their photos or even the 
way they look. Thanks to the valuations of others the people can get some benefits, 
for example: if she gets a good valuation, she will be able to get a better job or buy 
an apartment, among others. 
I really liked watching this episode because it aims to show us today’s society. 
Currently, many people just think about how they will be rated on social networks, 
without really caring what they are. Therefore, this chapter aims to criticize the 
society which it is only based on how people see you through social medias. 
In conclusion, if I were you, I would watch this chapter because wants to show and 
criticize the society that is based only on how people are physically and not really 
how they are, like social medias do.

INFORMAL LETTER  Hi Amelia,  How have you been lately? How are you handling this unusual situation? What are  you doing not to get bored? Hopefully you and all your family is good!  I received your letter but I couldn't answer it because the wifi didn't work. It is well  known for me that your dream since you were a girl has always been to work as a  dance teacher. Nonetheless, do you think you would be able to do it, as you have  been injured this year? Hello Amelia!, It was good to hear from you again, It's ages sience I've heared from you. I hope you and your family are well. How's it going? About the letter you have sent me, listen if  I were you i will opt to go to visit my brother  because girl, we're talking about your family and that you haven't seen him for a year, so  personally, I think that you should go to Australia because otherwise you will regret, I know it is a hard decision because you love being with the children but you can do that job another year instead I don't know if you can be another year without seeing your brother. Anyway, I must go and get on with my homework!
